Physical Library Cards
Your Library Card is your key to checking out books, library materials at both of NCPL's locations and the Digital Library.
Head to your nearest County Library and we ask you please bring photo identification or drivers license to obtain your physical library card.

- If you are ages 13-17, you can show Student ID, to have limited access or bring an adult with you to obtain a Teen Library card.
- If you are under age 13, bring an adult with you.
Out of District?
All residents with a Valid Texas Issued ID are eligible for a Library Card.
Out of District Library Cards are still free, however your card will need to be renewed every year.
Educator Card:
Are you an educator? Teachers and educators may apply for Educator Library Cards.
What is the cost?
Library cards are free for Nueces and Out of District residents.
Lost you library card?
All replacement cards are $2.00
Renew a Library card
To renew a library card please call the Nueces County Keach Family Library front desk or email us with a photo of your Drivers License and any changes in address to keachlibrary@gmail.com.
TexShare
TexShare is a statewide program that helps libraries and their patrons share resources.
If you’re a registered patron of a participating library, you may request a TexShare Card from your home library. You must be a patron in good standing and have demonstrated compliance with your library’s existing borrowing policies.
